Every member of our team is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and service.
Patrol Division
The Patrol Division is the backbone of the Sheriff’s Office and serves as the agency’s primary first responders. Patrol deputies provide around-the-clock law enforcement services, respond to calls for service, conduct traffic enforcement, investigate crashes, answer criminal complaints, and proactively patrol Taylor County to deter crime and ensure public safety.
School Resource Division
The School Resource Division is dedicated to providing a safe and secure learning environment for the students, faculty, and staff of Taylor County Schools. Our School Resource Officers (SROs) work closely with school administrators, teachers, parents, and students to build positive relationships while promoting safety and preventing crime. In addition to ensuring campus security, SROs mentor students, educate them on safety and legal issues, participate in school events, and serve as trusted resources throughout the school year.
Investigations Division
The Investigations Division is responsible for conducting follow-up investigations, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and working closely with other law enforcement agencies. The investigators are committed to conducting thorough investigations while providing professional service to the citizens of Taylor County.
K-9 Unit
The K-9 Unit provides specialized law enforcement services throughout Taylor County.
